Responsibly Sourced
Leather in all its forms is a by-product of the meat industry — no cow is ever killed for its skin. Millions of hides go to waste every year because demand for beef far outstrips demand for leather, so turning a hide into a rug puts it to good use instead of landfill. We work closely with tanneries in South America that buy their skins from slaughterhouses operating under strict supervision.
